🏥 1. HEALTHCARE
I believe in a robust healthcare system and advocating for the health of all regardless of their ability to pay. As a registered nurse with experience in various roles—including staff, an executive, an entrepreneur, and educator—I have a deep understanding of the challenges and needs within our healthcare system. My diverse background allows me to approach problems from multiple perspectives, ensuring we find effective solutions tailored to the 18th Congressional Districts unique requirements. It is not a one size fits all, but a willingness to look at the uniqueness of every situation.

🛠️ 2. INFRASTRUCTURE
Improving our outdated and neglected infrastructure must be a top priority for the next congressman. While this issue may not seem glamorous or headline-grabbing, it is essential to harness our influence and collaborate across party lines to address the urgent challenges of flooding, drainage, and the necessary upgrades to the fundamental physical structures throughout the 18th Congressional District. By focusing on these critical issues, we can ensure a safer and more resilient community for all.
Modernize aging roads, bridges, drainage, and public transportation systems to reduce flooding and improve mobility.
Prioritize green infrastructure for climate resiliency and cleaner air in urban zones.
Increase federal support for digital infrastructure, ensuring affordable broadband access in all neighborhoods.

💼 3. BUSINESS
I am committed to creating a vibrant, family-oriented environment that attracts businesses and encourages residents to live, work, and play here. Together, we can eliminate food deserts and revitalize areas plagued by abandoned buildings and vacant houses, transforming our district into a thriving community for all. This must be a priority of the next congressman. I will seek to bring federal resources into the 18th Congressional District to create a family-oriented environment that promotes and attracts young families and businesses where residents desire to live, work and play in every area of the 18th District.
Establish a Business Incubator Initiative focused on training, funding, and mentoring startups and small businesses.
Create public-private partnerships to generate jobs in clean energy, trades, and tech.

📚 4. EDUCATION
As a strong advocate of education and the critical role it plays, I firmly believe the power and influence regarding what is best for our children in the 18th Congressional District rests with their parents. My experience as an educator in corporate and continuing education, coupled with my role as an adjunct professor of Texas and United States government has shown me the significant challenges posed when our children are indoctrinated rather than educated. I will champion a vigorous education system that emphasizes essential academic subjects and sciences, rejecting any ideology that prioritizes political agendas over our children's future. Together, we can empower our youth to compete globally and cultivate an environment that attracts businesses to thrive in the 18th Congressional District.
Increase funding for STEM, arts, and vocational programs in public schools.
Support parental engagement initiatives that train caregivers as co-educators and community leaders.
Champion school safety, mentorship, and character development rooted in faith-based values.
Work to reduce the achievement gap through tutoring, technology access, and culturally responsive curricula.
“True education isn’t just about facts—it’s about forming purpose, vision, and voice.”

🛡️5. SAFETY
I am a passionate supporter of police and law enforcement because they put their lives on the line for our safety every single day. I am thankful for the dedicated men and women who protect and serve not only our community but also our nation. I firmly advocate for the utilization of federal resources to enhance the training, support, and recruitment of those individuals who choose to serve their communities in law enforcement.
It is essential to foster community collaboration through positive messaging and meaningful engagement opportunities with law enforcement, partnering with all key stakeholders within our community. I recognize the critical need to change the narrative surrounding policing, especially in urban and inner-city neighborhoods. For the 18th District to flourish, it is imperative that our communities, families, and businesses are safe. I am committed to working hand in hand with our local agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of every resident in our community.
Fund community-based safety programs, such as youth centers, conflict mediation, and restorative justice.
Strengthen police accountability and transparency, without defunding departments that protect neighborhoods.
Expand anti-violence and domestic abuse prevention services.
Collaborate with local leaders to address root causes of crime—poverty, hopelessness, and broken systems.
