DR. ALLEN BERRY

Dr. Allen Berry represents a profound commitment to service and family values. Married to Shannon Jenkins-Berry for over three decades, he takes tremendous pride in being a father to three outstanding sons: Captain Jordan A. Berry, Sergeant Jared A. Berry, and Jacob A. Berry. For Dr. Berry, family is more than a priority; it is the foundational principle that fuels his dedication to caring for others. In his free time, he enjoys teaching and exploring the Word of God, engaging in sports, and relishing the beauty of nature with his loved ones.

Dr. Berry's professional journey is both varied and impactful. A U.S. Navy Reserve veteran of the Gulf War who served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm, he also brings a wealth of experience in healthcare, education and business. His impressive career spans roles such as CEO, Director of Nursing, administrator, and registered nurse, and educator. As an adjunct professor, he specializes in U.S. and Texas government and public policy. Additionally, he excels as an entrepreneur, providing consultancy, negotiation, and organizational strategy for large institutions, health service startups and nonprofits. His dedication extends to counseling initiatives that elevate individuals and communities, as well as revitalizing real estate in underserved neighborhoods.

Education forms the bedrock of Dr. Berry's philosophy, which is evident in his remarkable academic achievements. He holds an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from San Jacinto College, a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, a Master of Public Policy and Law from American Military University, a Master of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. These qualifications not only demonstrate his commitment to continuous learning but also highlight his aspiration to create a lasting impact on society.

Dr. Berry is unwavering in his dedication to serving others and enhancing his community. As the CEO/President of the board of A.D.B. Foundation Ministries International, Inc., a respected 501(c)(3) organization, he leads initiatives aimed at empowering underserved communities through education, food security programs, job training, and counseling services. His passion for addressing domestic violence shines through his involvement with Fresh Beginnings, Inc. and his mentoring of men through CareerGear of Houston. This is why we need Dr. Allen Berry as our representative for Congress in the 18th District of Texas.
